How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your SFFG account and all associated data, email us at:

info@mlgafrica.com

Please include the email address linked to your account so we can verify your identity and locate your records.

What Will Be Deleted

Your account and login credentials.
Your profile information (name, profile picture).
Your financial records: transactions, budgets, savings goals, income streams, and net worth entries.
Your device token and push notification preferences.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable law — for example, financial transaction records needed for tax or audit purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy (§5). Any retained data is held only for as long as legally required and is not used for any other purpose.

Processing Time

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your verified request.

If you have a complaint about how we've handled your data, you can also contact the Personal Data Protection Office (PDPO) directly at pdpo.go.ug.
